Hear panelists talk about CREATING COMPELLING CHARACTERS at the Montclair Literary Festival on Saturday April 1, 12:30-1:30 pm at the Montclair Public library Main Branch, Montclair NJ. Sharon will talk about one of her own favorite characters COREY BIRDSONG. Maria Russo of the NY TIMES will moderate.

      Celebrating “Once on This River” published in 1998. This “diverse” book set in colonial New York remains relevant. Look forward to visiting Pocantico Hills Middle School where “Once on This River” is read by students.
